Board of Trustees

As a charitable foundation TUI Care Foundation is steered by an independent Board of Trustees currently consisting of five Board Members. The Board of Trustees oversees all activities of the foundation and sets the strategic framework for the foundation´s development. The members and the chairman are appointed for a period of three years and are re-electable. Board members shall receive no remuneration, either direct or indirect, for the activities they carry out for the foundation.

Advisory Committee

The Board of Trustees and TUI Care Foundation Management are supported by an Advisory Committee. The Committee consists of TUI experts on sustainable development, communications, hotel development, cruise business, and tour operating, who give advice on project proposals and actively research new projects and partners. The work performed by the committee members for the foundation is part of their TUI activities and contract of employment.


TUI Care Foundation is headquartered in The Netherlands and works with an international team of contributors from all over Europe. The Management executes the foundation’s strategy and projects in accordance with the framework set by the Board of Trustees. The management and other team members receive remuneration for the work performed by them for the foundation; the directors and the communications team members are paid by TUI and the programme team members by the foundation.
