The TUI Care Foundation has been awarded the "Outstanding Apparent and Non-Apparent Disability Champion of the Year" award at the International Women in Travel and Tourism Forum (IWTTF) Awards Ceremony.
This award recognises the TUI Care Foundation's commitment to creating a more inclusive tourism sector by empowering people with disabilities through initiatives like TUI Field to Fork Cyprus. As the IWTTF judges noted: “This is an organisation dedicated to doing better, to making a difference, and to creating an environment where inclusion is standard practice, not an exception.”
The TUI Care Foundation was also named a finalist for the "Allyship Hero of the Year" award, acknowledging ongoing support for women and underrepresented communities. Through projects such as TUI Colourful Cultures Peru, TUI Futureshapers Tunisia, and TUI Futureshapers Global: LGBTQ+ Travel Innovators, the TUI Care Foundation demonstrates that true allyship means making space for everyone.
Sincere thanks go to the IWTTF for these acknowledgements, and to all partners, project communities, donors and supporters who help make this impact possible.
