Congratulations to the TUI Academy Sri Lanka graduates!

Over the past year, nearly a hundred bright minds have worked hard to build their knowledge, skills and confidence at the TUI Academy Sri Lanka. Now, they’re set to become ambitious young professionals in the Sri Lankan hospitality industry.

The students began 2024 by ending their TUI Academy journey at an official graduation ceremony at the Heritance Ahungalla Hotel. More than half of them will now go on to promising careers within the local hospitality industry. Others have been inspired to continue their education further.

One of the students, Dulshan, was awarded a Distinction for being an exceptional student. Dulshan said: "from the day I joined the course until now, I had to constantly face new experiences in my life. I was able to successfully tackle each of these experiences because the TUI Academy and my professors have showed me the way. I got all that because of the TUI Academy. Today, I'm receiving an award as the best student, and I can proudly say my mother is even happier than me".

The TUI Academy Sri Lanka is part of the TUI Care Foundation’s worldwide TUI Academy programme, which focuses on empowering disadvantaged young people through personal development, tourism-related training, internship placement and career guidance. There are currently six projects running across four different continents.

We wish Dulshan and all the graduates success in their careers and look forward to embarking on inspiring journeys with this year’s new students.
