Frank Oostdam is at present Director and President of the ANVR, the Dutch association for travel companies (tour operators and travel agencies). He has been working in the travel industry since 2007. Frank Oostdam has extensive working experience in a wide range of industry sectors.
Preceding his appointment within ANVR he made a career in the automotive industry, working as a director of the VW/Audi dealer association in the Netherlands, director of a car rental company and leasing company.
In the more distant past Frank also worked in the paper-and stationary sector, printing and pharmaceutical industry. Having a long working experience in very different sectors at senior management level, Frank is an expert in value chain dynamics, changing business models, retail marketing, consumer-and customer related topics, development of future strategies et cetera.
Frank is at present also member of the board of the Dutch business and employers organisation, vice president of ECTAA (the European Travel Agents’ and Tour Operators’ Associations) and board member of the TUI Care Foundation. Frank studied History at the Rotterdam Erasmus University.
